A10 Carb

(1/2) > >>

JOHNSTONE:
I have just taken the carb off my 1958 A10 Gold Flash  to do a refurb and its stamped 376/15 which I believe is the wrong carb. I understand it should be a 376/17. Can anybody please tell me what effect the 376/15 will have on the way the Bike runs if I put it back on.
Thanks in anticipation.

DEREKANDERSON8:
376/080   BSA 650cc 1957-59; A10 Twin Gold Flash   1 1/16"   25   3.5   240   0.11   3

376/015   BSA 500cc 1955-56; A7 Shooting Star (Home and Export)   1"   30   3.5   270   0.11   3

STAR TWIN:
The stamp these days means nothing - the carb will most probably have been rebuilt several times using any serviceable body. How it works is the important bit.

DEREKANDERSON8:
correct bore size might help for a start.  ;)
