Engine running.
« on: 23 September, 2017, 15:13:36 »
Hi
I am a total novice and can not sort out my c15 engine.
I am constantly going backwards with it when i am trying to get it running.
Is there anyone who can take it to their  garage/ shed  and get it running. I have followed lots of advice etc but still no joy.
This is the last chance to get it running or I get rid of it and pack away my spanners.

Someone will turn up, try some other forums. There will be someone near you. A7 A10 Forum is free, so is the Classic Motorcycle Forum. Don't give up mate, you will enjoy it.  :D

Calvin,

Look up your nearest BSAOC Branch. Go along and make contact. Are you a BSAOC member? Go along anyway and you will find some help.
Good luck.

Calvin,

East Mids. or South Derbs. branches are likely to be the nearest.

Hope you sort it soon, don't give up.
My advice is Spark, Timing, Fuel. Check and more important double check.
If it's sparking and the timing is OK, is there fuel?
Is the plug damp?
Have you blown the jets out?
Is there decent compression?

Good luck
