b26 cush drive distance collar
« on: 01 August, 2017, 18:17:40 »
i have been working at primary casing , clutch etc and i have came across a missing part , when the clutch was all built up and i slipped the cushdrive and sprocket over crankshaft it was very close to primary casing so on further reading i noticed it requires a distance collar , i have enough spacers here to cut to correct size but just to confirm does anybody no the length it is supposed to be ? , also when i fitted some washers on to give me an idea i worked it out with a straight edge acroos the faces of the sprockets , however the next problem arose , the cush drive spring is going to need what looks like a serious amount of compressing to get the outer nut on is this the case or have i missed something here ? .
