Thanks for that.

Am I correct in assuming that after connecting the output cables the other two from the
alternator can be either terminal way round ?

As some of you know I am wiring a C15 SS.
I have a rectifier, came with the bits,it's a square alloy looking block centre drilled,4 connections.
Any idea how it is connected !
Also what about location the harness points to near the toolbox.

Thanks Arther.
I have just realised that I have trapped the harness with the switch panel.
So I will need to undo some stuff and reroute.
Getting a bit tired so going in to watch Boon on telly mainly because he rides BSA lightning.
Updates to come.

Many thanks for the replies.
I like the idea of locating the horn rear of headlight.
At the moment I am TRYING to fit the metalwork attached to the oil tank.
This is proving quite a task.
Not really having a pattern for what goes where and I suspect the ignition switch panel is out
of shape and the other parts are a mixture.
This must be the FUN of building a non-together classic.
Having a short break and taking Daisy out for walk.
Back in the garage later.

      Great web site thanks

Thanks for the replies.
Arther the harness which came with the bike appears to lead towards front down tube.
I could extend if required.
My bike has SS80 engine not sure about the frame ?
We're any fitted near that position ?

PS any ideas about fitting a main fuse ?

Arther
I managed to get the rear guard fixing pins sorted thanks.
What a job as you said to drill out the frame lugs had to buy a right-angled attachment and cut off
Drill bit to get access.
By the way existing thread was 5/16 BSC.
Just to mention the progress of the rebuild almost all parts are ready to refit.
I am starting to worry "Will it all work" and what to do next.
IS THIS NORMAL ?
Regards

Thanks for that Arthur.
You may remember Giving me some advice on the rear guard fixing.
I managed to get one side out to expose the thread inside it looks like 5/16 dia. But what thread type?
The other not enough metal left to extract it.
I will have to drill and retap.
