Twins / Clutch Centre Nut

I am having real problems removing the clutch centre nut on a 53 plunger A10.
Am I doing anything stupid? Iíve bent the tab washer back.
Itís not a left hand thread is it?

Twins / A10 Pistons

Looking around the web, the lowest compression pistons I can find for the A10 (53 plunger) are 7.25:1. I believe the correct pistons for a GF are 6.5:1.
Does anyone have any comments about the advisability of using the higher compression pistons? They are flat, the lower compression ones are dished.
Any thoughts would be valued.

I have just taken the wheel (what appears to be a normal 8" half width) off and there is a collection of 3 washers or spacers on the LHS, a single washer on the RHS and the spindle has no step in it.
 This looks odd to me. Were there any like this or am I looking at a bodge?
I think my safest option is to get a new spindle and bearings and replace them. Everything else looks OK.
I'd appreciate any thoughts with thanks.

Twins / Plunger A10 pinch bolts

I've just started working on my new (to me) '53 plunger A10, getting it ready for the road. I've found that instead of the lower rear plunger pinch bolts I have metric bolts with an odd collection of washers and spring washers. I was going to get replacement pinch bolts (with a flattened collar) but can't find any. Does anyone have the dimension (length, diameter, diameter and width of collar, and thread - I expect 26 tpi) to enable me to make them please?
I think I may have many more questions like this , as when I took the front wheel out a collection of 4 washers dropped out?!?  :)
