You should not have any problem, if as you say you fitted new loom and there should be no need to fit a Boyer Bransden kit, Have you checked the coil to make sure your getting power to  it on the switch side and the contact breaker side, also to make sure you have the correct gap on the points and that you have the timing? after checking all this, I would make sure your not 180 degrees out with the distributor.

Do you have an unsupressed plug cap on the bike? it should be for a magneto, I know sucking eggs etc but sometimes new leads are fitted with caps attached also check you have the correct plug and not a supressed one.
I have a B33 and if I flood it, I have to wait some time before it starts, yet if I just turn the petrol on, without flooding it will start okay.

I have the two lights, Ignition also oil pressure, oil light goes off but ignition stays on, I thought this was most peculiar as most other marques of bikes, the warning light goes off.

Todays enquiry: Is there anyone supplying new worm drives for the C15 oil pump distributor shafts, it fits onto the crank shaft, my mate needs a new one, as there is quite a lot of play in his and we have checked the drive shaft and that appears to be okay but he has about an 1/8" play when shaft is in in place.

I have had quite a problem with the A65L, now, I know it should have a monobloc carb on it as its a 63 model, however, it was fitted with a 930 concentric when I got the bike so I thought I'd leave that on there, I can run the bike on choke, when I take the choke off it cuts out, the mixture screw does not seem to have any effect at all, although I have cleaned out the pilot jet which ids the sealed type and blew it through with an air line, I have just raised the needle to the middle slot which I believe seemed to have  improved it slightly, the book states the needle should be in the first groove, now I'm thinking maybe I should try the third groove, what do the team think? :-\

Welcome to the forum. Oil leaks are always worth trying to sort out before they get too bad, the inner and outer cases do not have gaskets but you could always make a thin paper type one to suit, I'm not sure but believe that the gear cluster comes out with the inner case but that's quite easy if you have the C15 book.
However if the bike has been laid up for some time you may need to replace the oil seal in the gearbox, by the drive sprocket, I'm sure there will be lots of response to your enquiry later.

Hello Andy.
I believe they were Brunswick green & Black, also turned out burgundy & black, with part of the tank chrome, I'm sure Julian  & Arthur will be on here shortly to give their verdict. :)
