HI PHIL

JUST AN IDEA NOT SAYING THIS WILL WORK BECAUSE THE PIN MAY BE TOO TIGHT BUT YOU COULD TRY
USING A G CLAMP AND SOME KIND OF NUT AS A SPACER AND SHORT BOLT AS A PUSHER AND PUSH IT OUT
BY SCREWING UP THE G CLAMP . THIS IS ALL IN THEORY OF COURSE AS THE G CLAMP MIGHT BREAK >

HI THERE
WHAT MIGHT BE POSSIBLE IS JUST TO PUT THE REBUILT CRANKCASES WITH CRANKSHAFT IN THE FRAME
SO THAT WEIGHT IS MINIMAL THEN REBUILD REST OF ENGINE AT YOUR CONVENIENCE . DONT KNOW IF
THAT WILL SUIT YOU THOUGH . REGARDS JOHNBOY .

Twins / Re: A65 swingarm bush removal
« on: 10 November, 2017, 15:05:50 »
hi there,
what I do is burn out the rubber using a small blow torch then the inners  just pull out but to remove the outers what I do
is use a hacksaw blade lengthwise and cut a slot in the bush but not all the way thro then collapse it using a sharp punch
until you can get a small chisel or similar in works for me . regards john kay .

HI THERE
I FITTED SWINGING ARM BUSHES MYSELF WITH GREAT DIFFICULTY AS THEY ARE USUALLY VERY TIGHT TO GO IN >
I USED A LENGTH OF HALF INCH OR SIMILAR SCREWED ROD AND NUTS USING SOCKETS AND LARGE WASHERS TO FIT
AND PULLED THEM IN SIMILAR TO HOW YOU WOULD FIT SMALL END BUSHES > A LITTLE TIP IS TO SMOOTH DOWN
THE ROUGH FINISH OF THE BUSHES WITH A STRIP OF EMERY  AND USE OIL ON BOTH SURFACES  TO EASE THINGS
A LITTLE > REMEMBER TO REMOVE ANY POWDER COATING ON THE INSIDE OF THE SWINGING ARM BUSH HOLE >
IT CAN BE DONE REGARDS JOHNBOY .
