Hi Dean,

The type that you have on your bike, and in the ebay link you posted are the one's I have seen. They look nice, they are the same that Classic Transfers did, I don't think that they where that expensive though :o I think that Marcia must be just using up the stock, and not ordering any more.
Dean, i'm not a member of the VMCC, just seen the price of membership aswell.
Thanks a lot for you help :)

Hi Dean,

Thank's for your reply. The transfers are not for me, and I have seen a few images of tanks with transfers, but it gets a bit confusing. Some have just the front  BSA in the surround, and some with the front and a back bit with the piled arms in between. My friend says the bike is made up of parts from a 1928 and 1930 bike, so I don't know if that makes any difference ???
Dean, the VMCC Transfer is just the front one, it doesn't say left or right or if sold in pairs, what do you think?
Cheers, thank's for you help.

Hi all,

I am after a set of Petrol Tank transfers for a 1929 Sloper for a friend of mine. Classic Transfers did have them, but I have just looked on their website, and they are no longer listed.
Does anyone out there, know where I can get a set from?
Thanks in advance.

Pre War / Sloper mag problem

Hi All,

This is my 1st post on the forum, and the question that I asking isn't for myself, it's for a friend in Australia. He sent me an email today about his mag. Here it is.

I am having trouble with Alanís   1929    BSA Sloper   Frame No P6180    Engine No P6680.

I have 2 MAG/DYNO both have the same Lucas part No  MDB1

But when looking at the Magneto from the  contract points end , one has the HT  pickup lead on the left side the other on the right side. I would like to find out which one is correct.

I was going to phone the UK BSA owners club or the National Motor Cycle Museum.  I would very much like you to phone them for me  if you would and let me know the cost and I will fix you up.

The MAG/DYNO  are cast in one alloy housing.     You are not able to remove the dynamo assembly as on the WM20.    which is secured with a strap,   keeping the dynamo secured to the magneto section.

As I think they will have to do some research on this request, they will have to phone you back . and I donít think they would be pleased to have to phone back to Australia.

I don't know anything about Slopers, so I hope someone on the forum does.

Thanks in advance,
Dave
