Twins / Oil feed routing

I have looked for a routing diagram, without success.
Does anone know which side of the bottom oil tank fixing does the rocker box feed go ?
When I got the bike it was routed on the engine side of the bottom fixing, I think it would look much better if it was routed between the bottom fixing and the frame.
Is there any reason why I can't do this ?

Picture shows it routed on the engine side of the bottom fixing.

Twins / Nut removal

I am trying to remove the acorn nut from the end of the rocker shaft but the shaft just turns and the nut stays put.
Any one got a trick to lock the shaft so that the nut can be removed ?

Twins / primary chain case cover

Does anyone know if my 1958 primary chain case cover with just the one cap will change for the newer type with the two caps and the drain / level plug in the bottom ?

Are there any direct replacement LED's for the standard tail/stop bulb and the pilot bulb in the headlight. Also a direct replacement Halogen 12v for the headlight.
I am thinking of going over to 12v useing an electronic control box, DVr2.

Twins / Position of controle box

1958 A7 ss.
On my BSA the control box is fitted in the tool box, I can't remember it being here on my 1961 bike.
Is this where it was originally fitted ?

Twins / headlamp cover acorn nuts

Has anyone got any idea where I can get the two acorn nuts that are just under the headlight on the cover (preferably stainless)

On the old forum someone told me of a colour used on a Jap car that was a good
Match for the A7 Shooting Star.
I have tried to access the old forum but no joy.

Twins / Oil Level

In my handbook it shows the primary chain case with a filler hole, a clutch adjusting hole and a drain/oil level hole at the bottom.

My chain case only has a filler hole (see picture).
How do I know when I have the correct oil level.

My engine number is CA7SS 5593
