Twins / oil feed/return pipe union
« on: 13 July, 2017, 21:12:19 »
Hi

I have an oil leak on the oil pipes union under the engine on my BSA A65 1963 (Looks like it needs a new gasket) Its held on with one bolt and my question is will this union come off without having to lift the engine up.

Ok, so maybe I'll be ok with the 375/31 carb with the 375/34 jets.

Thanks Derek

I've just come across an Amal concentric MK1 626/R300 I used on a Royal Enfield Bullet, would this work on the C15 as well?

Thanks

Singles / Another question about C15 carb
« on: 25 May, 2017, 22:17:47 »
Hi

The 375/34 carb that came with my C15 is probably best for the bin! the question I'm asking is - would a 375/31 carb be ok on the C15 if I change the jets over.

Thanks

Singles / C15 Trials tank
« on: 21 May, 2017, 23:17:19 »
Hi - I'm looking for petrol tank for my C15 trials project. Does anyone know if a 2Gal BSA Gold Star scrambler catalina would fit the C15 frame. I've got a standard 3 gal tank but it looks too big for a trials bike. It doesn't even need to be off a BSA a Jap tank would do if it fits and looks the part.

Cheers

After spending ages in the shed trying to get the barrel off the 1959 C15 star I've smashed most of the fins off  >:( but never mind! I can get hold of an SS80 C15 barrel and piston but would this go straight on? or should I wait and buy a standard C15 barrel.

Sorry to be a pain! but I don't understand the dating formula. I have a BSA C15 without any paperwork/reg. The engine number is
C15 27702 and the frame is C15 6650.

Thanks for your help.
