Title: My Dad's A7
Post by: ar1 on 11 January, 2018, 14:22:02
Hi All,
I've been wondering for over 40 years what became of my Dad's BSA A7 - Registration No. 566 CKO (London/Kent). He bought it brand new c.1958 and told me that it was a 500 twin. The bike still exists somewhere according to DVLA vehicle search, but is listed as a 650cc now.
Anyway, I thought I'd ask on this forum to see if anyone knows of its whereabouts now and if it's still on the road?
Many thanks

The bike still exists on the DVLA data base but doesn't seem to have any MOT history which may mean it hasn't been used on the road for a very long time. As it has not been SORNed this would seem to imply that the current owner is unknown to DVLA and there is a high probability that it no longer exists as such.

That's a shame, you're probably right, I hadn't thought about the MOT thing.
Thanks for checking that out, appreciate it.
