Title: A10 rev counter timing cover
Post by: big steve on 19 October, 2017, 15:46:36
I have a A10 timing cover with what looks like a factory rev counter mounting adjacent to the mag drive,
I thought they picked up a drive from the oil pump can anyone enlighten me.

Driven from mag up to and including 1959 season. 1960 season on from oil pump.

The timing cover rev counter drive catches your ankle. Given a few years, you almost get used to it. That may explain why it was changed to an oil pump drive.
