Title: C15 Over Heating
Post by: BANHAM on 20 August, 2017, 18:39:06
My C15 has recently developed a habit of over heating, 8 stroking and stalling. I then pull over and kick her over, she starts usually after the first or second kick, ticks over as though nothing has happened and off we go. There doesn't seem to be any mechanical seizure, just very hot and a lumpy engine leading to a stall. Checked the plug colour and it's about right, mid brown. Any idea's guy's.

Looks like I've solved it. I've checked the points and they were almost closed.  Reset them and now I need to retime her.
