Title: Rocker cover

As anyone got tip's on getting a good seal on my rocker cover its been skimmed and I've got the nuts down tight but after I've given the bike a good ten mile I get oil from the top front of the engine its an 1965 thunderbolt

Hi Fereday,
                 If its leaking around the centre rocker cover holding down nuts, I use a close fitting Dowty seal under the nut with a bit of Hylomar or a domed nut. If its the rocker cover joint I use this sheet gasket and cut my own :

Check that the forks are not leaking, I had this once before, where I was trying to cure a leak on the head, turned out the fork seal was leaking and blowing the oil back onto the head and rocker box. Hth
